Market ready renovation for the vacant 206,448-square-foot Orchard-Trimble Business Park in San Jose. The project includes new lobbies, windows, restrooms, common areas and electrical/mechanical systems.
HMH Landscape Architecture provided services for the renovation and designed an entirely new amenity space between the buildings. Some of the features in the new courtyard include bocce ball court, water feature, tiered movie viewing terrace, outdoor kitchen and ipe decking. The improvements are critical because many properties are older, one- and two-story R&D buildings that worked for a previous generation of manufacturing tenants. MWest is working towards attracting today’s facility-conscious tech user that is competing for top talent.
